We have created this page to help in any small way we can to make a difference!
We are inspired by the work the National Breast Cancer Foundation completes and want to support them just as much as they support all the Breast Cancer patients, survivors and their families.
Our mother has been battling an aggressive breast cancer since 2013 and after being given the all clear after rounds of chemotherapy, radiation and two operations her cancer returned in 2015 almost to the week of being diagnosed the first time in 2013. In 2015, our mum again diagnosed breast cancer this time being in the form of stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that has spread throughout her bones and lymph nodes.
Our mum is the most amazing and strongest woman we know. She is a fighter and a true model of what it is like to get up every day and live life to the fullest as much as she can. There are times she is in pain and can’t do much, but she will always still have a smile on her face and she knows how to light up a room.
By participating in The Sunday Age City2Sea, presented by Westpac 2016, it gives us a chance to help raise funds and make a difference to cancer research and help this wonderful organise continue to help Breast Cancer patients and their families.
Please help us make a difference and help the National Breast Cancer Foundation to continue to complete their outstanding and hard work.
